How can I park at Polynesian

Just park at Disney Springs and hop on the Polynesian Resort Bus and don't worry about parking at the Poly.

Sorry, but parking at Disney Springs and using their buses is a bad idea. They are notorious for being the worst buses as far as frequency goes.

OP--I'd just park at the TTC and monorail/boat/walk to the Poly. Or Uber/Taxi over.

Any suggestion that involves using Disney transportation would be a "no go" for me. I would not want to spend up to an hour traveling to the Poly (and then another hour back) just to do a little shopping and have a drink.

I'd drive there (10 minute drive), see if you can park in the lot. If the answer is no, then decide to do valet (and pay the cost) or park at the TTC and walk over from there.

Pull your car i between two of the parallel lines (usually called a "parking spot"), put your car in park, turn off the vehicle, exit vehicle, lock it.

It just depends on what is important to OP - are they willing to pay money to park, getting there quickly? Or are they willing to take time to get there but at no cost? And are they sure they will stick to on drink or might they want to have a second or third, where driving could be an issue. Just things to consider.

FWIW, we relied on WDW transportation for a no-park day last week. We took a bus from Saratoga Springs to MK and then boat to WL, and it took about 40 minutes total. If OP walks to DHS from Swan, it cuts out one mode of transportation so it likely wouldn't take all that long to get to Poly.
