How can I go anyplace else?

I have only been to three on-site resorts CBR, POFQ and Pop Century - I loved all of them, but Pop Century had that special magic to me. Now I am going back this year and when I thought about trying CSR - my wife stopped me and said she wanted to go back to Pop. I actually feel the same way, I got such a good vibe from this place. I stayed in the 60s section and the music and atmosphere was so much fun.

One of my vacation dreams is to try every Disney resort at least once. My question to all you Disers is do you have a resort you like so much - you don't want to go anyplace else.

For me, it's the GF... especially at Christmas,but this year we stayed in the AKL savannah view and I couldn't believe how peacful and beautiful it was. We also had the goal of staying in every resort...still need to try POR, Pop, BC, BW, OKW, CBR and AAS.

Yes, I would love to do this too, but now I have settled for just vistiting all of the resorts. We have been to several just for dinner and we walked around etc. I think you can get a pretty good feel for the resort and I know which ones I would like to stay at etc. Right now I too am debating POP or CSR. We have never stayed at either and am partly excited to try something new and also nervous that we'll be dissapointed. My fave resort is AKL and I would stay there every trip if we could afford it. We are on a budget this trip, also going for two weeks so we have to make the money stretch.

I wanted to try them all, and we've gotten quite a few down. CR, POR, POFQ, CBR, ASMo, ASMu, AKL, WL, Dolphin. Then we went to BC, and I never want to go anywhere else (of course, that would mean WAY fewer trips, so it ain't going to happen.) Anyway, be glad your fave is Pop, because it's so affordable! Be careful what you try!

stemikger -- can you tell me what you love so much about Pop? I just booked it yesterday for Sept. After seeing another thread today, I'm a little worried. Did you use the Magical Express? Anything specific to avoid, request? Thanks for any details!

My last trip to WDW was in 1980 stayed at the POLY. Going in 3 days with my DH and DS (they have never been) to POP. I am so hoping that POP will be a hit for my family. I just don't want my family to be disappointed.

ME too!!! It think it would be SO COOL!!! I just booked CSR for 8/24, one more to cross off the list!!! Our family LOVES POR SO MUCH, I doubt all the resorts will be "crossed off the list"!!! I talked them into splitting our stay last month between two mods, I doubt we will ever split our stay again unless it was a two week vacation!!! Too much time checking in TWICE!!

I know how you feel! We keep wanting to go back to CSR, but would also like to try as many of the different resorts as we can. So far we have done CSR and POR. For our trip next year we are planning on trying CBR.

After staying at the Poly - a place I didn't really want to stay in the first place - I don't think I can ever stay at another Disney Resort again. I guess I wanted to try all the monorail resort, but one taste of the Poly and I'm done!!!! Can't wait to go back!

We ALWAYS split our stay between two resorts. That way, we can try something new and stay at our old favorite!

My DH is like that. With him its always the GF when we are at Disney and always HRH at Universal. I love GF but would like to split a stay somewhere else sometime. This January though we are trying WL since my in-laws are coming too to watch DH run the marathon. Next July I would like to do a split stay with GF and either AKL savannah view or YC water view. Wish me luck!
