Oh my, I'm sooooo excited for our trip in two weeks, I have butterflies just typing this!!!
If it's a spending thing which it ALWAYS is for me...what helped this time is having everything paid for before we leave. I have had our hotel and tickets paid off for quite a while, and in the last few weeks, I've been deducting from my checking accout "on paper" everything else I can think of, like the $$$ PS, Pirate cruise and Cub's Den for DS, tips, etc. I'm even thinking of trying to estimate gas and souveniers and deducting those before we leave, LOL! I want to get some Disney dollars tool
(Thanks to your post, I just decided to stock the cupboard before we leave, so that I don't have to feel guilty about how much we spent on going out to eat while I'm making a grocery list on the drive home, ugh! )
I have never been so excited for a trip in my life so my strategy is definitely working! Now if I can just order from the menus without looking at the prices when we get there...LOL, I guess that's why I love cruises!
It also always helps me to think about how short life is and how many hours we put in doing mundane stuff compared to how many hours we actually spend enjoying ourselves or spend with our families!
Hope this helps a little!
