How can I book adjoining rooms on line?

I am trying to book adjoining rooms at POP for December, and can only get the system to let me book one room at a time. I don't want to book one and then not be able to get another next to it as we are travelling with our 4 kids and need adjoining rooms. Is it possible to book two rooms at the same time on the WDW website or should I call? I hesitate to call since I'm trying to not let the kids know about this trip for now.

You will need to call WDW. If there are small children they can confirm connecting rooms.

Be sure to ask for connecting rooms, otherwise you will have rooms next to each other with no door in between.
 
I would never book online. The reservation system is totally separate from the one used when you call. You cannot later apply a discount to the room if you book it online. It's generally just a hassle. Definitely call.
