How can anyone be booking for Christmas Day???

The people who check in on 12/15 should be able to today, right? Unless I misunderstood the way it works. Today is the first day 12/15 can book (90 day mark) and add the 10 days to 12/15 and you get 12/25.

So they can book 12/15 (90) +10 ADDITIONAL days which puts the 10th additional day at the 25th.

Am I incorrect?

It's 10 days worth of reservations, not 11. Someone else just confirmed that in the other thread where we were discussing it and said they confirmed that multiple times with dining.

I admit that part can be confusing, but I have never thought it was 11 days total, just 10 days total. I think the "plus" terminology is confusing, in any case. And if 50 people now post that they booked Christmas today, then I guess we'll know that I am wrong (and all those CMs as well)!

Well stuff me bake me and call me a turkey! I thought you could do 11 days since it was 90 PLUS 10! Kinda glad to hear this since I can book on Friday. That's one day less that Christmas day would have been open to others!

If you go forward to page 2 in the restraunt boards there are claims that people have already booked for Christmas day and that Chef Mickeys is already booked! Rose and Crown was mentioned as a restraunt someone booked on Christmas Day too!

No it doesn't mean that. We're all discussing the END of the 10 day window.

You don't get to book at 100 days. You can book at 90 days from your check-in date and we are discussing whether it's a 10 day all-inclusive booking window or if it's really 11 days. As I stated before, as far as I know it's 10 days TOTAL.

One of the mods probably knows the definitive answer. We just don't often book 10 days worth of reservations, that's why I don't know for sure myself.

Edited to add: just to make sure I wasn't crazy, the one I was thinking of was page 18 on the December ADR thread. A Dis'er made Christmas dinner ressies.
I think there was another one, too.. just have to remember where I saw it.

So that's 11 days when you're using 90+10. That was not the way I thought it worked, as I stated before, but I believe you that it did! I'll be interested to hear what calgary comes back and says they were told!

That's pretty much BS to make you feel more special, I'd say. They don't have the ability to book earlier unless you are Oprah or something!

Disney will allow you to make reservations for up to 10 days after your arrival date so, as long as your vacation is 10 days or less, you can make your dining arrangements for your entire trip. This is typically referred to as the “90 plus 10” rule. Per Mouseplanet

90+10 should take you "up to 10 days in advance", NOT a total of 11 days. If that's the case, the 25th would've been available to any/all booking 90+10, not just a select few such as yourself.

Booking Date: Sep 16th (90+10 takes you until Dec 24rd)
Dining Date's: Dec 15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24

Booking Date: Sep 17th (90+10 takes you until Dec 25rd)
Dining Date's: Dec 16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25

Therefore the accurate date to book 90+10 for Christmas should have been Sep 17th.
