How Can a Doctor's Office Enforce This?

DH's whole office is not like that, but he has a patient who is very allergic to stong scents. DH comes into the office early on her appt. days to see her before other patients get there. He also makes sure to wear no cologne as does the office staff.

I also get headaches and nausea with really strong smells, especially certain scents. Lighter scents don't bother me, so I still wear body splash (from Bath and Body Works.)

About 20 years ago, before this awareness of scents causing illness symptoms, my favorite perfume was called Poison. I wore it even though it gave me a headache for a few minutes after I put it on. I spritzed some on just before going on a date, and when he arrived, he asked what it was. I said, "Poison" and he asked me to wash it off. I joked, "You're kidding, right? It's just a name." and he said no, it was giving him a bad headache, and he couldn't get in the car with me wearing it. So I washed it off.

I imagine if no one in the office complains about it, they let it go, but if someone does, they probably would ask that person to either wash it off or wait outside.

My DSs Allergy Dr has a sign like that on the door and they told me on the phone prior to our first appointment.
