Hello everyone

I am going to orlando on 6/25 staying until 7/5. We are staying at the Sheraton Vistana. My question is how less or more busy is the week befoe the 4th then the week of..I have been down for the 4th before and it was packed..I am hoping that the first few days like 6/25-6/30 are less busy then when it gets closer to the 4th. Anyone ever been 6/25 timeframe?

Thanks

Tony

I'm going right before the 4th. Never have been at this time before, but from what I've read it is still going to be packed.

Yeh..I am sure it is going to be busy and with the heat and 1yo and 4yo ill need a vacation from vacation..But i am hoping the first few days will be a little quieter(6/25-6/29 or so)....I am going nuts waiting!!!!!!!!!

All of our trips now (since the kids got too busy to pull out of school to go in January) are over end of June-first of July.
Yes it is busy. This time is the peak season for US visitors. You will need PSs for all your special meal plans and plan to get FPs for most attractions as soon as you get to the parks.
The wonderful thing about this time of year is how late the Parks stay open (with the exception of AK). We stay until they close and then shop on our way out, most nights not getting back to our room until 1am. Our teenage DS and DD love it and DH and I are so happy that we all have a good time.
Don't get freaked out if it seems like it will be impossible to do anything during the regular "day" hours....after 8pm the parks really empty out and it's easy to get on anything.
Another fact: it RAINS hard most every day some where in the Parks. Get your ponchos and be prepared to use them. My DS loves the rain because again, the parks empty out as alot of families don't want to slosh around. Us, we don't mind getting wet and soggy while we enjoy!!

WDW ON JUNE 24:wave: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I'm in your boat tpaparazzo--we'll be bringing a 2yo!! I guess we won't enjoy the late nights as much. And I expect that we'll be napping during the rain showers, but I'm sure we'll still have fun! Have to take advantage of the morning hours.

Have a great trip!

Yeh, a slower pace with the kids but ya know i dont care at all..Ill be away from work, in florida, going to disney with my kids, what else could you ask for..My wife is scared that the 1 year old will get grumpy,(she gets embarassed if the baby cries while out to dineer, etc) but I tell her that she doesnt realize how many other 1 year olds crying will be there..Its a kids place and families go there..

Thanks everyone for the help!
