How busy will it be in June after new ride opens?

My family is planning on visiting June 20-22 this year. We just saw that the new HP ride (Hagrid's Magical Creatures) will open one week before we arrive (June 13). While we are excited to experience the new ride, I'm also concerned the park is going to be packed. We are staying at Royal Pacific, so we'll have Express Passes. However, I'm guessing we'll still have pretty long waits with the EP due to increased crowds everywhere since people will want to check out the new ride. My kids love the EP and are going to be disappointed if we have long waits even with the EP. What do you yall think?

Figure there will be an initial rush as locals and hard core Potter fans check it out... The ride itself will be busy for a while but shouldn't fill the parks to capacity and make EP that much longer everywhere else after the first few days. It's one ride, not a whole new park.

Check hotel availability in coming days... Should give an idea of how crowded to expect.

Hoping things will be calmed down a bit by mid August when we go.

It'll be between 1-2 hour wait minimum by August. Right now as we speak FJ is 100 and Gringotts is 45.

I'm going to go during the Fall, it'll calm down a little more by then, but will still be busy. At least it will be cooler outside by then.

Oh I'm sure there will still be a long wait for new ride... Just hoping not lines across the park . Guess will see if EE helps at all when time comes

EE should definitely help get you on the new ride quicker. If you aren't going to ride it on certain days, then the EE should allow you to easily use EP on all other rides for several hours, even if the parks eventually do get crowded.
