How busy was MK last Sunday (8/21/05)

We arrive this Saturday (8/27), but won't visit a park until Sunday. I know my DD(7) will be soooo disappointed if we don't go to the Magic Kingdom on our first full day, but I was wondering about the weekend crowds. Anyone visit last Sunday? How were the crowds?

We were there all day Sat 8/20. I was surprised - the crowds weren't bad at all. It rained for about an hour in the late afternoon. We got decent spots for the afternoon parade, and were right on Main Street for both Spectromagic and Wishes. Lines weren't too bad, although we used FastPass whenever we could. We walked right on Thunder Mtn, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Tiki Room. It took about 20 minutes from the time we left the park until we got to our car (we took the ferry), which was alot less than our last visit in April.

DW and I were at MK on Sunday. The crowds were less than what we have experienced in mid-Sept. We used the FP a lot during the day but the only long wait we saw was for Peter Pan's Flight. I think it was close to 50 minutes in the afternoon. Most of the other popular rides only had 20 or 30 minute wait times posted but we never experienced longer than 15 minute waits.

I'll be in the MK Sunday too. Cooler temp lighter crowd no hurricane maybe some light rain sounds like a very good plan to me.

We will be in the MK in the afternoon and then CM at 7:20!!
