How Busy the week BEFORE Christmas?

it is manageable. however, the closer to christmas, the busier it becomes. you can almost see the crowds growing daily!

This is the time of year we always come to WDW. We find the crowds to be okay untill Christmas Eave, then you can see the crowds and the attitudes change. So up until Christmas eave is not bad.

You'll see a big jump on Dec. 24th....pretty dramatic. But before then it's better than holidays at least.

We will be there from Dec 18th-21st and flying out around 6:30 that night. I'm hoping to miss the majority of the crowds. We do know that MVMCP is sold out for the last night for fri. dec. 19th. We will be doing other parks the first 2 days to avoid the MVMCP crowds. If it's busy or slow, one thing is at least were in WDW...:smooth:

I was in Orlando last year the week before Christmas with my family. We went to Universal and DW. The parks were, for lack of better word, dead. The longest line I waited on was about 20 minutes and that was a couple of times. I often spent more time making my way through empty que lines than actually waiting to get on a ride. I asked a few cast members at Universal and DW and they assured me that the weeks between Thanksgiving and right before Christmas are traditionally slow. This is why we are going again this year.

As you get closer to Christmas day the crowds do increase. As we were leaving the weekend before Christmas it was obvious that the hotel was filling up. I suspect all will be well until 12/20 this year and after that all heck will break loose.
