How busy question

I noticed on my ipad park hours app that AP holders are blocked during the time we are there from March 10 on..... we arrive on March 7th.

Does that mean that week is going to be crazy busy?? Will there be crazy waits for rides when passes are blocked??

Originally we were going to do the parks on the thursday March 8th then not again until the Sunday/Monday. We had planned to go do the warner bro's studio tour and see the hollywood sights on the Friday..... wondering if perhaps we may be better to do the studio tour on the Saturday or Monday and try to get everything we want to do at the parks done before passes are blocked.......

I would love to know the answer too. I asked the same question last month because we will be there from March 8-11. Someone gave me a link where they predict the crowds. If I remember right, Thurs was 2 out of 10, Friday was 7 out of 10, Sat/Sun were 9 out of 10. We decided that we want to try to do as many of our favorite rides on Thursday as we can.

There is really nothing special about the AP blockages over that weekend, so don't base planning on that.

DL will be mostly quiet 5-8th. For many Spring Break will start Friday the 9th after school. It will from then on get much, much busier.

It won't be crazy busy, nothing insane, just busy. Get rides in on the 7th, 8th, and morning and afternoon of the 9th. Use the weekend for shows and late nights.

Im confused by the question?
I only see APs blocked for So Cal passes. One pass is blocked Sat and the other is blocked Sat & Sun.

The only dates that I see blocked out are Saturday the 17th for Deluxe and So Cal passes; as well as 11, 16, 17, and 18 for the So Cal Select.

If you look at the blockout calendar, most Saturdays are blocked for the Deluxe holders and all are blocked for holders of the two So Cal passes. Futhermore, the SCS holders are always blocked on Sundays.

There's not much unusual there at all.

The ipad DL park hours app has now changed... it originally just said Annual Passports blocked and now it has Southern California and So Cal Select for the Sat/Sun which I presume is 'normal'. Saw the AP blocked and had a touch of anxiety about crowds!!

We arrive around dinner time on Wed MArch 7th and fly out to Vegas late afternoon on Tuesday March 13th..... I think to make sure we see everything we are getting a 3 day park pass and will do the parks Thurs/Fri then again one of the other days if necessary. We are also hoping to do the Warner Bro's studio tour one of the days.

My guys are older (almost 18yo and 12yo) so we move pretty quick through the parks. We will also be dealing with a 3 hr time change from Canada so getting to parks for opening will be no issue until it all hits and we figure out we are exhausted!!
