How busy May 16th?

I am thinking of going for one day only Friday, May 16th. The hours for DL are 9 to 11pm and DCA are 10am to 9pm. The day before it closes earlier so I am wondering are the extended hours because the park is likely to be busy for some reason? Are the kids out of school by then? I saw Pirates was going to be closed is it due to the movie premier and it being blocked off?

Any input ASAP since I think I am going to get tickets tomorrow if we are going.

We have been many times so I know 1 day isn't enough, but we do one day here and there and then visit with friends the other days. It's going to be our first time since our daughter was born and if it's going to be swamped then would rather wait. Thought midweek would be better than the weekend...

The reason there are short hours on the Thursday before, is likely because of grad nights. I wouldn't expect the parks to be overly crowded. With year round school in the Anahiem area there is always a group of kids out of school. Non-year rounds get out in mid-June and this is the time to AVOID like the plauge because many schools will have there end of the year field trip at the park. I have been twice and will avoid it again.
