How busy is the week before Christmas?

We will be staying at the Pop from Dec 17th thru the 22nd. All the guides say that the parks are not busy from Thanksgiving until Christmas but does that mean Christmas day they start getting busy or before?

We've been many times during that time frame. In my experience, the closer it gets to Christmas, the more crowded it becomes. But, it's not really THAT crowded until Christmas Day until New Years, at which time it is VERY CROWDED.

So, for your dates, you should be fine. You will see a slight increase in crowds as each day goes by, but really, you're going at an optimal time.

We went the 18-23 Dec 05. Did see increasing crowds towards the end of the week but for the most part I was surprised how UNcrowded it was. I had been expecting worse. It was our first trip and we were pleasantly surprised. Have a great time!

We are going 12/13-12/27 We are also staying at Pop. From what I've read the crowds really hit on Christmas Eve. I hope that is true. I'm so excited!!! I just hope the weather is nice.
