We are going to Florida to meet up with our friends from the UK for the week of Thanksgiving and planning on going to US and IOA for a few days. We're coming in the weekend before Thanksgiving and leaving on 11/27 late in the afternoon. How busy is US and IOA that week? What days should be try to hit the parks? Never been to Universal before, only WDW and really excited about going!! Oh, I missed the "stay and play" tickets on mapleleaf so if anyone has any suggestions on where I can get tickets for a good price, please let me know! TIA!:flower3:

It's not too terribly busy up until Thanksgiving day but starting on Friday it's nuts for the whole weekend.

Thanks for the reply! If we go anytime from 11/21 - 11/23 which is the Sunday-Wednesday before Thanksgiving do you think we would need the FOTL passes? This is our first trip to Universal and wondering if we need to stay on-site to get the passes or not. We would like to stay on-site but this is going to be a budgeted trip to say the least and would rather not spend that money to stay on-site unless absolutely necessary! TIA

Historically you would not need Express passes for that week and those days. If you stay offsite, make sure you're there at opening to get a jump on the crowds. If you find the lines are getting too long, you can purchase the Express Plus passes at either park.
