How Busy is October Half-Term

I have seached the forums for this as I'm sure it's been answered to death, but can't find anything.

Could anyone tell me what the weather and crowds are like during October Half-Term week please, any help much appreciated.

October is a popular month with the Halloween celebrations. When we were there is was busy but not packed. You are best to avoid the weekends as they tend to be busier.

The year we went it was cold and wet much and such as it is here so I would pack for the cold I am afraid.
