How busy is it the week before Easter?

We had plans to go in May not thinking the week before Easter. Just wondering how busy it is then. We have plans to go to the park sat-tue. I was looking at when the ap are blacked out and so cal is blacked out the week before and week after Easter but no black outs besides I think sundays in may (it may have been saturday). Im just wondering if its going to be better to go when they are blacked out or not. I also would prefer not to be there duing spring break but I dont know when that is. I really want to go when the crowds are lower so we are trying to stay to non peak days. I cant go anytime before that week. Im due with our new little one in early Jan and would prefer to not take it to the park before 3 mos old.

Just wondering what time would be best moving to Apr or keeping it in May like we planned.

The week before Easter is extremely busy. I think it will be more so next year since Easter is so late. Many schools that do Spring break the week before OR after Easter will most likely have break the week before Easter in 2011 since it is so late in the year. I know in our area Spring break is usually the week after Easter, but next year its the week before since we are out of school a month later.

Yep. Extremely busy. Seems likely that those schools that combine break with Easter will choose before rather than after since it's so late this year. Our school district is just avoiding Easter altogether and choosing earlier in the month, but I have a feeling this will be the exception, not the norm. I've always found Good Friday the worst, most crowded day for some reason, probably because a lot of people end up getting the day off work and don't realize how busy Disneyland will be.

During the spring break time, blackout dates don't help you. It was just plain busy this year during that Easter time.

Ok then we are going to stick with May. I am thinking middle of May so I will just plan it for then.
