How busy is it during Pop Warner Superbowl?

We're planning a trip from 12/5-12/9 and just found out that the Pop Warner Superbowl is during this time.

Has anyone ever been during this time? Are the parks overrun with kids and cheerleaders?

We were hoping for a quiet trip and were just wondering who has had first hand experience during the "superbowl" time.

Was there in early December last year. Didn't notice too much of a difference in the parks, but the All Stars were absolutely overrun with football kids. Half the parking lot was even roped off for their needs. It was pretty annoying.

Thanks for the reply. We were going to spend a night or two at All Star Movies and then move to WL but we may have to nix the All Stars idea.


I've done some further investigating (ie: running a search of old posts) and found that it runs about 50-50 for folks being bothered while in the parks.

How long will they be there? We're going to be at WL from the 10-13, will they be gone by then?

They are scheduled to be there Dec 5 to 11.

I've been there around that time the past few years and it wasn't that bad. I always stayed at Boardwalk Villas though. They are busy with their games and competitions during the day at Wide World of Sports. They do have an after hours party for them at MGM one night, I'm not sure if there is an early closing. Unless you are staying at All Stars, I wouldn't change your plans.
