My cousin and I have booked Mon - Fri Feb half term. I was unsure because I was worried it would be really busy being half term but this is the only time my cousin could get off. Will we be queuing for hours to get on the rides?
Thanks

My first ever trip to DLRP was in Feb half term 2007, and I honestly didn't think it was that busy. I remember doing Dumbo mid-morning (before the parks were doing Extra Magic Hours), and we don't do queues ;) , so it couldn't have been all that bad.

Feb half term holidays are split in England this year, ie not all schools are off the same week. So you may find it not too bad. I hope so :) . I'm sure others here who have been in Feb half term more recently than me will be happy to give you their opinion too.

hi, we went in feb half term '08 and didn't find it that busy at all. However, it was our 1st trip so didn't have anything to base it on, but after speaking to friends that go in summer/xmas,i came to the conclusion that it gets a lot lot busier at other times.

You also have to remember that there is usually a two week period in which the english schools take their week's half term and not all schools have the same week. i know that suffolk schools are usually a different week to essex, so maybe we had the quieter week last year (11th-14th)?:scratchin

We are going in feb half term for the first time and are really hoping it wont be as busy as it was at Christmas (November)

We used to go all the time in February and it was a lovelytime to go as there weren't a lot of queues. Busy in the evenings for meals in the restaurants I remember, and wrap up warm.

We went in Feb half term last year and it wasn't too bad but was definitely significantly busier then for example the previous week judging from trip reports. Queues not too bad but it was VERY cold!!

 Well we keep going back in Feb, so that shows it can't be too bad.
It is certainly the quietest of the school holidays and if you make the most of EMH you can get loads of rides done before the busiest time of day (usually early - mid afternoon).

We went in Feb half term a couple of years back it was ok, in fact we are going the weekend at the end of feb half term this time. It was very cold though, it even snowed whilst we were there, this time I will be more prepared we have snow boots and ski suits and gloves and hats lol

will it really be that cold in feb?!? oh no! we plan to go end of feb, but if it will that cold may have to delay it a bit longer...

Who knows? I seem to remember a few years ago we had a real heat wave in Feb, but last year Feb half term was mid February and it was definitely skisuit weather in DLRP. Seriously cold although not as bad as last week by the sound of it!

We are expecting it to be cold when we go but 2 years ago we went to Paris (not DLP -proper Paris) for a few days over Feb half term and were caught out by the warm weather. We were walking round in short sleeve T shirts and sat eating icecream by the river.

As I say we are going expecting it to be cold and if it is warm then its an unexpected bonus

yep i am prepared for the cold too. i actually dont mind if its cold if the rain would just please stay away from the magic!!!
