We were planning on going to Epcot on Friday Oct 21st. This is the last night of our trip & really wanted to end the trip at Epcot, but we have been told that Epcot will be busy in the evening because of the F&WF & there is a MNSSHP at MK that same night.

How bad will it be at Epcot? Couldn't we just do the WS right away when it opens & then move back to FW once we have done everything we wanted in WS. Would we still notice all the people if we made sure we where in FW by evening.

Your plan won't work, since WS at Epcot doesn't open at 9am with the rest of the park. It opens at 11am. So you kind of have to go to FW first.

As for crowds ... yes, it will be more crowded than it would be without Food & Wine going on, but it's not as though you'll have Christmas week or NYE crowds. And if your goal is to go into attractions and shops and see shows, you probably won't be affected much by the extra crowds, as they will all be standing in lines at the food and wine booths to eat and drink. Don't worry so much about it, and just have a nice final day at Epcot!
