We are headed to WDW for a week from Jun 3 - Jun 10 to celebrate my DH 30th and my DD 2nd birthdays! We are going to try the waterparks and have a day at all the parks. What we were wondering is how crowded it will be? We have only been at Spring Break and Christmas. Should we expect those types of crowds? Thanks!!!

We've been a couple of times in early June, and we didn't find the crowds that bad at all. In fact, we'll be back June 8-18, 2006!! Can't wait!!!

What works best for my family is that we get up early and go to the parks. Around lunch time, we'll get something to eat, then head back to the hotel for a nap/swim time. Then, we go back at night and stay however long we want! Be sure to use Fastpass!

I always like to make at least one ADR for each day; that way, I know we have a place to eat that we really like!

Enjoy your trip!!!

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

As Magic2000 said, crowds are not that bad yet in early June. The later into June you go, the bigger the crowds will be.

And if you've only been at Spring Break and Christmas, the parks will seem rather empty in early June!

The first two days you are there will be more crowded in the MK (Gay Days) and the Studios (Star Wars Weekend) than Epcot and the AK.

Enjoy!

We used to go the first week in June since our wedding anniversary is May 31. We'd find crowds only on Memorial Day weekend the rest of the week was fine.

However, one year we went the second week in June and the weather was HORRIBLE! It rained every single day for 20 minutes. It's amazing what a difference a few weeks makes. We vowed never to go in June again!

We went for the first time last June. It was great IMO. The weather wasnt bad, for us. It rained and rained and rained some more, all day rain. See the pic in my signature? Thats what it looked like everyday lol. But we loved it because it cleared the parks out. We never waited in line more than 15 minutes for anything all week.

We go 1st week of June every time and it has never rained on us while we were there. It has rained while we were taking our mid day break, but it didn't rain for long. I have to say though, we are troopers and would still go raining or not!! :cool1:

Hi - we're going the exact same time that you are - staying at the Contemporary!!! We'll be celebrating Rachel's 5th birthday.... we usually go later in the summer when its REALLY hot - it will be hot in June but still bearable.... take everyone's advise and go back to the room for naps and swimming - then go back to the parks at night for the fireworks and parades. The nice thing about staying onsite (don't know if you are or not) is that those families who either don't stay onsite or push their kids to last the whole day normally don't last until the evening hours - so the parks usually aren't as crowded!

If you can make ADRs, do so for the evening meal - that way you'll be fresh from the hotel and can sit and eat leisurely before you go hit the ride again!!!!

We are making plans to go this same week. Good to hear that the crowds won't be so bad since this will be my DH's and my 2 year old daughter's first trip.
