Hi,

We are going back to DLP on the 7th Feb 2008 for five nights...does anyone know if the parks are busy at this time??? Also. any idea what the weather is normally like at this time?

Thanks in advance

Vikki

We have gone in February for the last 4 years, but a week or so later than you, which is half term for most of the UK and also a holiday for some of the French regions. It is busy at times but bearable. If it happens to be a rainy day then most rides are walk-ons as people seem to stay away (yeipee for us!) Queue times are less than 60 minutes even for the most popular rides.
In those 4 years we have had weather ranging from bitterly cold with snow (where we all had chapped lips and dy skin on our cheeks from the extreme chill factor) to quite mild this year, where it was necessary to take off coats in the early afternoon and enjoy some winter sunshine. Got to admit it is more likely to be a bit chilly though.

Thank you for your reply. I guess we'd better pack our winter woolies then, eh!!! Think the idea of snow sounds lovely - does it make the parks seem that bit more magical??? (if that is possible!!)

I too am going in early Feb, the 4th-8th.
As there are no UK or French school holidays i am hoping it will not be too busy, i am however expecting it to be very cold.

Nice to know someone else from the boards is going at the same time - where are you staying???

We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge, where are you staying???

We're going to the Santa Fe this time - couldn't resist a sneaky break away given how cheap it was with my AP discount!!! Strictly on a budget this time seen as I was only there a few weeks ago!!!! lol :rolleyes1

We are hoping to book the Cheyenne soon for the 11th Feb.:goodvibes
Our boys school breaks up on Friday 8th Feb.

We went last half term in Feb and we thought it was pretty quiet during the week but very busy at weekends as usual.

The weather was mild and as already said some days we didn't even need our coats. However the year before we went end of Jan/beginning of Feb and it was totally freezing!! The whole of the lake froze!!:scared1:

I will be packing thermals/jumpers/jeans/thick socks etc as i think its more likely to be cold than not.
But we love it at that time of year and it keeps us going in between our WDW trips.

Can't wait!!

It always depends on school holidays...
For February :
Zone A : 16/02 - 03/03
Zone B : 09/02 - 23/02
Zone C : 23/02 - 10/03

So you'll have only one zone off during your holidays. I advise you to do the more populare attractions on the 7th and 8th. Many people should arrive on the 9th, and that's also the week end...
