How busy is 3rd week of August/When does School resume?

Can anyone tell me when school resumes for the florida kids? How busy are parks the week of August 16-23, 2003?

I can't tell you when the Florida kids go back to school, I am sure someone will come along that knows.

We went last Aug 20tn - 25th. The parks were great! Not much of a crowd at all. Just be prepared for the heat and some afternoon showers. We left the park to swim in the afternoon, and really enjoyed the trip. I would go again at that time. It was hard to go back to school the next day, but a great ending to summer! As a matter of fact you have me thinking.....

Well, I personally am hoping that the parks are empty!!! Guess when we're going??!! But, seriously. I have heard that is when the parks start closing a little earlier. MK open to maybe 8 instead of 10. And a lot of schools are back in session, so I've heard the parks start thinning out then. We start school here in Ma the next week. So, hoping for less crowding, decent weather, late park nights and a terrific code!!! At this point, I'll settle for fewer people and a good code so I don't break my budget!! BTW, where are you planning on staying?
