How busy in July?

I'm working on putting a trip to CA together for next year. We will be in CA for about two weeks and our main focus is ball parks. The MLB schedule for next year finally came out today so I'm getting a better idea when we'll be in Disneyland. Right now it is working out that we'd be there either over the 4th of July or right after, arriving July 5th and staying through the 9th. This is over the weekend right after the 4th. Is that bad timing? Is it going to be really, really busy?

We were just there July 6-11th so I can give you my thoughts based on this year.

July 6-9 were not TOO busy and the mornings on July 10-11 were good but it got quite busy after around 11am or so and stayed busy for the rest of the day.

We were there from July 5th-9th this year, and the crowds were great.

We were there July 2-8 and thought the crowds were perfect. The only time we were in the thick of it was in the hub for the fireworks on the actual 4th which was totally expected. They were sending out messages that Main Street/hub was full and one of our family members who went to use the restroom had trouble getting back to us but other than that the entire week was extremely manageable crowd wise and the weather was perfection as well!
