Ours is great!

Friday
-$0. H got off work late, and we just relaxed and watched tv with the dog and ate at home.

Saturday:
-$3 at Starbucks after my workout class.
-I also bought some random stuff we needed at Target-between cartwheel and a gift card earned with Swagbucks I .32 left for another day. During this time H went in to teach some lessons he had booked.
-I also went to Nordstrom Rack and returned a necklace I had bought about a month ago and never wore so I figured it needed to be returned.
-We also went to Lowes and got a bunch of random/boring stuff needed around the house. We had a $150 gift card from Christmas and have almost $40 left.

Sunday: $0. H is working all day. I stayed in and did a deep clean of the house. I also did some work from home today (I get an OT rate). We will eat at home tonight.

I could have done without the Starbucks but we still came out ahead.

It was a really good weekend! We have some Disney trips coming up (we have annual passes but enjoy eating at Disney), we have to pay off the rest of our cruise very soon, and finishing up a (LONG) bathroom renovation, so it's much needed.

How is everyone else doing?

Oh man I had an expensive weekend. Fun but it was expensive!
Friday: Target run with the kids $100
Friday Night: Saw a play in Sacramento $19 for the show $2 for a cookie and water, then $2 for snacks on the drive home.
Saturday: A 2 hour cardio/core and choreography class $21
Saturday Night: Movies $17.50 Soda: $5, Dinner $40, coffee to sober mommy up :p $4, Baby-sitter $40

Worth EVERY penny!!!!

Not too terribly bad. We went to a birthday party on Friday night. The presents were purchased a few weeks ago so I technically didn't pay for anything on Friday night (we ate dinner there). Saturday we went out to dinner which cost us about $40. Today my boys went to play laser tag with some friends and that set us back $28. We were going to go tubing yesterday but it was almost 60 degrees here and it just didn't feel like tubing weather. We plan on doing that next weekend which will cost us $88.

We ate at home on friday night and then went to the meat market on saturday morning and spent way too much and then ate out on the way to pick up DD at college so we could all go to granddaughters birthday party. We had already given her the gift on her actual birthday so that was paid for. Stopped on the way home and bought produce for the week. Had sandwiches and salads for dinner.

Today we have been cleaning house and DH is putting on steaks we paid way too much for, but they will be good!

We had planned to go our for dinner last night for valentines day, but neither one of us felt like it, so maybe next week!

I don't have a formal budget but I do try to spend only a certain amount a week. My son and I went to the University Museum of Art of Friday (I got off work at 2:30 yay) and it's $5 to park on campus. Bugs the heck out of me that they don't have some sort of visitors parking on campus. I went to a home and garden show on Saturday, which cost $6 for admission and $5 for parking and was not worth it. I didn't stay but about 45 min. Today I went to a movie with my son, tickets were $7.50 each (I paid for both) it is the kind of theater that you can order dinner so I got nachos with chicken and he got feta fries, we both had the worst bloody mary ever made. Total for food with tip was $37. We live out in the country so it's 25 miles round trip to go into town so that was gas going back and forth both days. I try not to go into town on the weekends but it happens. Spent more this weekend than I normally do but since I usually stay home on weekends it wouldn't take much to spend more.

Not bad. Friday went out for burgers and beer. 75 with tip but that also includes the burger to go for my son

Sat. $25 for ds16 to go out to dinner with friends

Sun. $2 for redbox movie

I LOVE Melting Pot! Did you do the 4 course dinner? It is amazing!

We did! We split everything except the salads (each got our own), and I'm glad we did as we were both really full. This was our maiden voyage & we loved it!!

This is fun!

Friday: $0: DFiance and I went out to dinner with his entire family- his sister and her husband graciously picked up the tab.
Saturday: Super Expensive. 40.00 for lunch a BW3's while waiting on my car to be fixed $30.00. And then while Dfiance worked saturday Night, I went out to dinner and drinks with the girls in my family- I also paid for my mom all night. $100.00
Sunday: $0: Slept in, ate lunch at home, and went to his parents for dinner!

Friday - $0 - spent the evening at home

Saturday - $0 - worked for a bit in the morning while the older 2 kids were at TKD. Home for all meals.

Sunday - $3.39. - had 2 separate emerg calls from patients, so I went to the office (twice!). Stopped for whipping cream (which would not whip!) and yogurt drinks (not planned, but they were 4/$0.10 - last day of sale, I couldn't pass them up! The kids will finish them within a couple of days.)

A pretty cheap weekend!

Friday - volunteered at an event. Some volunteers canceled, so I called my teen daughter and had her bring some of her friends to fill in. Gave them money to get an ice-cream after to say thank-you. - $20.00
Saturday - College visit - Free lunch
Stopped in at Costco in the city we were in for a veggie platter - came out with $75.00 worth of groceries.
Stopped at the mall in college town to return a shirt I ordered on-line (-$25.00), then bought prom dress for daughter - $150.00
Got Pizza for dinner since we were late coming home- $25.00
Sunday - cleaned and did laundry - $0.00

So...as far as the budget goes, I've had better weekends.

Friday $5 to DD14 for performing night at high school then $15 for 3 of us to get frozen yogurt with toppings. We rarely get that treat.

Saturday $18 to DD18 for Cheesecake Factory, $4 for DH & I lattes, $11 to DD14 for movie with a friend

Sunday $7 Burger King lunch

We don't normally have this much entertainment spending.

I feel like a old prude!!! Weekend at home...$0!! I won two eBay auctions, so less than $35 out of pocket!!

Not too bad considering:
Saturday
Drove to my father's house in the NOLA burbs. My mother died less than 3 months ago and we go at least once a week. Dad paid for dinner out. I made breakfast at his house before we left-$0

Sunday
Trade show at the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, MS. The business paid for the room so it was free. Lunch (fresh-caught grilled redfish sandwiches, one beer, one margarita) at a beachside place-$45 with tip. It was a warm day and we were able to sit out beachside :-)

Drinks, dinner and a wee bit of video poker at the Beau Rivage casino
-Drinks (one bourbon rocks, one Heinekin) were comped, $2 tip to the server
-Dinner at the casino buffet was free courtesy of MyVegas points, $5 tip (Service was very lackluster.)
-"We" (AKA DH) won $13 at the machines. DH actually won $20, I lost $7.

Gas is very cheap in Mississippi so around $20 for that.

So our total for a nice weekend with drinks, three meals out and a room at a pretty nice casino hotel was $59.

Friday - $30 for Pizza and wings for the family.

Saturday- $26 for Chinese food for the family. Stopped into MAC for my makeup. $70 but I had $50 in Macy's giftcards from Christmas.

Sunday- I had to pay for the dress I'm wearing as a bridesmaid. $80. Brunch with the bride and bridesmaids $25. Room Escape "Trapped in a Room with a Zombie" girls night was $15 which I paid for previously through groupon.

We did well this weekend, thanks to Grandma visiting. :)

Friday: $0, stayed in & ate at home

Saturday: Went to Target after DD's dance class & got some clearance clothes for the kids. Had a GC though so spent less than $2 out of pocket. Then Grandma babysat and DW & I had a cheap date night. Went to Chipotle for dinner using our free burrito coupons, spent $2 for a soda to share. Then some shopping; DW had a Lululemon GC from Christmas so she got some things there, then we went to the used bookstore and ended up spending $24 for 3 books. (1 for us and 1 for each of the kids. Can never resist buying them books.) Then dessert & coffee, $12.

Sunday: Grandma took us all out for breakfast at IHOP, then we went to the Botanic Gardens since it was so nice out. We have a membership to the gardens, so that was free.

Not much money spent & lots of walking - my app tells me I walked 6.4 miles on Saturday & 6.3 miles on Sunday - is a win-win in my book.

Friday- $60 in groceries, $4 for a poster for DD for helping me with cleaning horse pens, $45 to get rock chips filled in my car windshield- this should prevent them from running, and thus get longer out of this windshield
Saturday- $27 for $5 appies and a beer for DH (planned)
Sunday- nil

Not bad really
