How big is your turkey??

For Thanksgiving dinner that is - Just bought ours tonight - 20.75lbs for 4 adults, a 12yo, 7 yo, 2 yo and 2 dogs - we love leftovers!!!!

I bought an 18 pound turkey today. Its for 3 adults and 1 child.

I've bought two 20+ pounders, and I'm not cooking dinner that day! LOL I gave the bigger one to my mom. I think it was 21.5 pounds. There will be about 9-10 of us at her house. They are so cheap, I just get a huge one.

My MIL is also cooking dinner that day. She always gets about an 18 pounder. Which is never enough to feed the 35+ people that she invites. Our family would cook two for that many people.

I'm not sure how big our Thanksgiving turkey is, I'm not in charge of it. I do know we have a ham back-up (12 people total).

As for the other turkey...he's around 200.

it will hopefully be 25lbs. Five adults. We love leftovers. We always pig out on snacks and then are unable to eat dinner til 9pm or so.

I like to think that I have more in common with the turkey than my [future] spouse. I definetely have better breasts.

We are eating at my inlaws and they keep all of the leftovers so I bought a little 8 pounder so we could have some for sandwiches.

My other turkey is 5'9" and a hot 175!
