How big are the pulldown beds?

Just wondering if my 6' son could fit on one. How do you actually get up there?

The bed is approximately twin bed size, but I think there is a weight limit, maybe 200 pounds. It comes down over the sofa, and they hang a ladder off of the edge to get back up. castawayclub.com has a picture of the beds if you're still interested.
