We're thinking of doing a 5 day Disney trip in August (8-13), but how awful will the weather be? We live in New Jersey, so we do know all about oppressive heat, but how bad will the heat and humidity be in Florida in August? Also, how are the crowds this time of year? I'm assuming they aren't too bad since room rates are in the "value" season. Our last two trips have been over Christmas and Easter, the two most crowded times. So, we are pretty accustomed to Disney crowds. How does August compare with those times? Since a Disney trip is always expensive, we just want to make sure we have a great time for our money. Any tips or strategies for August are greatly appreciated!
.August is also smack dab in the middle of hurricane season, just go back the last two years and see what we had to deal with.Disney was pretty much spared the wrath of most of them, also the humidity is pretty bad even for those of us that are used to it.The thunderstorms that move through tend to be a litle more intense, though dont expect it to last all day.
, they have tons of stuff to do in the Air Conditioning
