I was just looking at different crowd calendars for June 2016, most of them are 7/10, 8/10. How bad is it really? We have never been that time of year, is it shoulder to shoulder with 2 1/2 hour waits for most things?
Thank you!

If you are trying to judge based on those numbers, what are the numbers when you normally go to WDW?

I have only gone in mid-July and the calendars were all 8 or 9, but it really wasn't as bad as I expected. I guess we planned accordingly, used FPs, and just made the best of it. We are going the 2nd week of June and I am hoping it will be a little less hot and crowded, but it is what it is and we will still be having a great time at Disney!

We usually go at the end of April and it's pretty tolerable in our opinion.

We found late April to be very similar to the first week of June for crowds. We went in April one year mostly because we were used to going in June, and thought it would be less crowded, but it really wasn't.

We've also gone for spring break (mid-March) and right before Christmas, both April and June feel empty in comparison to those, lol!

the first week of tune and the last week of april are fairly similar when it comes to crowds altho it is hotter in june

We were there last year and it was fine. Busier than I expected but not wall to wall people. It was quite warm midday but with the long park hours, we took a pool or waterpark break most days and then went back to park later. Mornings and evenings were very nice, even a bit cool. We went back the week before Thanksgiving and crowds were actually pretty similar. We have also been week after Christmas 2013, and it was miserably crowded. I wouldn't hesitate to go back the first week of June with a good plan.

We have been going Memorial Day week for the last few years. It get more crowded as the week progresses. Last year on our last day at MK it was shoulder to shoulder people in Fantasyland. It was also really hot. I think the heat makes it seem more crowded. We stayed until about 1 then headed back to the hotel. Just go expecting decent crowds with fairly long waits on the big rides. If you happen to luck it to fewer crowds you won't be disappointed. The heat is the worst thing about June. It's really hot in the afternoon.

We were down there for the first week of June last year. We were at rope drop every day and rode everything we wanted. It was a lot hotter than we were used to, so we went back to the hotel every day to play in the pool and cool off. Then we would head back in the evening. We scheduled our FP+ for the evening when we went back. If we had tried to stay in the parks all day, it would not have been pretty.

We have been that week several times and it's not bad at all. We go early, take a midday break and go back in the evening. By going early and planning Fp's wisely, we always get to ride what we want and we never wait long for anything.

Early June is usually when we go (we will be there the 2nd week this year). It will be busy, but manageable if you plan accordingly. A strategy that I like to use is to schedule your first FP+ attractions for late morning rather than early as many people do. Arrive at rope drop and take advantage of short stand by lines for the first couple of hours. The park will be busy by the time your first window rolls around. This way you are not relying on your same day FP+ after you have used your first set.

I was there June 12th through June 17th last year and it was incredibly busy. With that said, even with the busy factor, it felt like I got a ton of great stuff done without too much hassle.
The big BUT in the room though is the fact that it was incredibly hot and humid. So much so that a number of cm's commented on it and mentioned how it was pretty unusual for that time of year.

I've learned my lesson and I'm bringing a change of clothes for every day in case I sweat through the morning stuff :)

We were there 6/6-6/10 last year. The crowd calendar said 9 most days. Many rides had high wait times (12o for 7dmt, 50 for jungle cruise, etc. ). We had a plan, got to parks before RD each day and never waited more than 15 min. No plan = long, long waits.

With Fast Passes and a plan, it was doable. The biggest problem with June was how unbelievably hot it was. Heat was the big game changing factor. We finally settled on afternoons back at the hotel and then back to the parks in the evening.

We go beginning of June every year and it's not awful as far as crowds go along as you use FP, EMH, & arrive near opening.

We have gone the first week of June twice and had great trips. We would go to MK a lot at night when the temps were cooler and the lines were shorter. We especially loved the evening EMH when the park was open until 3:00 a.m. We made a lot of memories that night.

We have gone that week a couple of times. With rope drop and fast passes you can absolutely do all you plan to do with minimal waits. It is not bad at all.

We were there from 5/25-6/6 last year (the last few days were at universal).

It definitely got more crowded as the trip went on (and wetter). But we planned well, and took afternoon breaks. We had previously gone during low crowd times but couldn't take the kids out of school. It was more people than we were used to, but we expected it to be much worse.

With good planning, a crowded park can still be a ton of fun. We had a GREAT vacation.
