Monday-Wednesday before Thanksgiving??

That is the only time everyone could get off work so I can't complain but I'm concerned it's going to be super busy!!

Should we get RideMax?
Our party will be 10 adults and 3 kids.

We did day trips to DLR on the day before Thanksgiving in 2005 and 2007. Year 2005 was extremely crowded but that was more a result of the 50th anniversary celebration that was happening. Last year I was surprised how light the crowds were. Relatively speaking. Peak wait times for Space Mtn and Indy were like 45-60 minutes as opposed to 75-90 minutes I have seen on busy days.

There is no reason for 2008 to be busier than 2007 and at least one that it will be less busy - the poor economy.

In summary it will be busy compared to off-season but should not be terribly busy.

With that said, I still get RideMax myself to get some ideas on how they expect lines will build and to see their holiday tips. :)

We went Sun/Mon last year and we are doing the same again this year. Sunday was slower than Monday for whatever reason. We prepared ourselves for the worst and were so pleasantly surprised. We got everything done we wanted, had long hours even at the parks, it was the perfect holiday "fix" to see all the Christmas stuff.

I am so glad to hear this!! :cool1:
We have never been during this time before but really want to see the Christmas decorations and can't find time in December to go. Of course I knew to avoid the days AFTER Thanksgiving.;)
We will be in the parks the Saturday - Tuesday before Thanksgiving!!!:goodvibes

We went this past Thanksgiving and we were pleasantly surprised. We are from Canada and when I booked the trip I didn't even know it was US Thanksgiving! When I found out I was really worried and prepared for the worst. We were there the Sat of the Thanksgiving weekend until the following Thursday. I thought it looked really busy (lots of crowds) but the line waits were not too bad. We walked on Splash Mt every time. (people were complaining it was too cold to go to splash but as we had just left 2 feet of snow we thought it was great.) We waited 15-20 min for Indiana. Our longest wait was Peter Pan (30 min.) We found California Adventure to be really slow. We rode River Ride 7 times in a row! We never used Fast Pass as we never needed to. We did have to stake out spots for parade and Fantasmic about 1 to 1 1/2 hours before shows.
