How bad is Disneyland on a Sunday?

I'm still trying to figure out my TDR days. If I do a one night/2 day plan on Sunday March 30-Monday March 31, I will get unlimited Fantasy Springs. I could then get a one night/2 day on April 1-2. The first VP would not be the unlimited but the second one may be.
My other choice is to do two 1 night packages -one on March 31- April 1 and the other April 1-2. If I do this, I will have tickets for both parks on April 1st. If I do this, should I get an unlimited ride VP for one of the stays?
I need help and I have to book this in a couple of days.
Thanks

Sorry, I know this is late given the booking window opening on 11/6, but just in case it helps (you or anyone else):
-Chris (TDL Explorer) has a video about TDL on a random Sunday. Bottom line is that it's not great but not awful. The lines were actually shorter than I would have guessed.
-With that said, if the Sunday will not be your own day at TDL (such that you can skip a few things if the line is too long), and given that you would have a VP with at least a few fancy rides or pre-selects, I would think you could have a pretty successful day.
-My biggest concern honestly would be the food. Waits at TDL for food seem to be insane under the best circumstances. Use mobile order and plan ahead, and you'll probably be fine.

I was dumb and didn't set an alarm to try to log on right at 9am, so by the time I checked like 7 hours later the only days I could get were weekends. They're the unlimited package, though, so that should be manageable(I hope!)

Sunday will be crowded, but using the normal package line skips will help a lot. Beauty and the Beast will have the longest line, so definitely get one for that.

OMG I am planning to be there the same time and only just now starting this adventure.. So clueless on Tokyo planning... but my first stop was here!

Just got back from a Sunday + holiday (Labor Thanksgiving). We had a package, but booked an extra night (our last in Japan!) at The Disneyland Hotel. Sunday was our last day, and we needed to be back at the room by 11:30 to finish packing before checkout & the shuttle to Narita. We walked outside at 6:45 AM for an 8:30 Happy Entry, and the line was already pretty wild. That said, it was organized & we weren't far back from a turnstile after security/load-in.

We scanned in within 2 minutes of Happy Entry and were able to snag Enchanted Tale of BATB (paid) and Big Thunder (free). We hustled to take quick shots of a people-free castle, then booked it to Pooh's Hunny Hunt. Then we went to Mansion with no wait. After that, lines were already high (240 minutes for BATB) and most of the parade waiters were settled in. More free 40th passes were either gone or too late for us to book at that point. We booked a mobile order lunch at Woodchuck Kitchen (LOVED it), used our passes, enjoyed lunch, and headed out. A pretty efficient AM but definitely was looking to be a high crowd day.
