How bad are the crowds around President's Day?

I like to go during the off season, but one person going with us couldn't go if we went at another time. So we are going February 12- 15. The 16th is President's Day. I am so worried that the crowds are going to be awful.

I'm a big planner, we always get to the park early use fast passes, but I'm really nervous that the crowds will be unbearable.

From DLR crowd history, Thursday and Friday shouldn't be that bad, but you will see a big spike in crowds on that weekend. It is a very busy weeekend for the resort. But as long as you do as much as you can on thursday and friday, and get there early and use FP a ton on Saturday and Sunday, you should be completely fine.

- holiday weekend
- gorgeous weather
- fireworks (that are only at DL a handful of days until March)

It'll be busy. The tips posted above will help at attractions. Also, plan ahead with getting seats/spots for shows. Expect crowded shops. As long as you know it'll be there, you can enjoy yourself.

And as I always try to remind people, there is a LOT more to Disneyland than just the rides.

Enjoy,
Dreams

Well as an AP holder we are blacked out that Saturday AND Sunday, they only do that if they are expecting large crowds so yes, I would guess it will be busy over the weekend. Not as bad during the week tho, so get a lot done then. :)

We were there last year for the few days before the weekend of President's Day. The lines were not bad and we walked on a lot of rides in the morning and at night. Expect the crowds on Thurs and even Fri to be smaller I would suggest you go on the non fastpass rides and on rides you HAVE to go on during these days. Use the other days to fill in the gaps or rides you want to experience again.
