We leave in 3 days. (We can not wait) I was wondering how bad are the bugs and mosquitos this year? I was planning on bringing bug spray but I hate to really use it because it smells.

Thanks for any help!! We are staying at the All Star Sports.

Now that you mention it, I don't ever recall having a problem with bugs inside the park. Maybe we've just been lucky?!

I agree never really had a problem in the park even during mosquitos season which is around this time of year.

The only time we've experienced bug problems was at Fantasmic. We've been once in July and once in October and both times I was bitten by mosquitos, not bad enough to make me stay away though :p .

Have fun!

we wear sunscreen with repellant in it - if there is a bug problem we don't know about it - never had a prob

That is true bring lots of sunscreen. Florida is having one of the hottest summers that I can remember and I have a feeling this weekend is going to be hot! My DW and I are going up in 3 days also..who knows maybe we well bump into each other. :)

We got back a couple weeks ago. I didn't wear insect repellant at all (neither did the rest of my group I think) and I didn't end up with any bug bites. I don't even remember seeing any bugs at all, really.

Bugs are not attracted to me, but they love my wife. She smears crisco on her legs to keep them off, a good 1" layer does the trick :)

It's magic! There are no mosquitos in WDW parks! ;)

Sure, that's what WDW wants you to believe! Actually, the truth is the mosquitos can't afford the tickets, so they are not permited to enter the parks!

LOL!!

Actually, like the previous posters, we didn't have any trouble with bugs (late July) at the parks or at our resort (All Stars) even during the evening. It was a nice break from the daily layer of "Off" our kids get at home this time of year.
