I think I've just decided to take advantage of the Fairytale Vacation Pkg. for late in August (hopefully will be able to get ressies.) I've been looking at flights from PHL & seems the prices are over 2x what I paid in 5/01? Did I miss the boat on getting cheaper prices or is that just the way it is w/the economy, war, etc.? Maybe I should try out of Atlantic City?

What do you all think?

Check out Travelocity. I have farewatcher and got an email about $150 from PHL to MCO for travel June 11 to October 15. I am been trying and trying to sneek something in, but it is not working with work scheduled :( I was playing with all sorts of dates from July, August and October and all were coming up $150 + tax which is pretty good.

Good luck, hope you are able to find something!!

I just checked USAirways and tickets are $150.00 to Orlando for dates through mid-Oct. We are going the last week in Oct. Bummer! I would have bought $150.00 no problem. This past year they have been running higher. Now at this time last year I bought tickets for our Nov. 2002 trips and tickets were only $130.00 and that included all taxes and surcharges!! But I don't think we'll be seeing low prices like that again for sometime. So I'd be happy to get $150.00!!!

AirTran is also having a sale on flights booked into October.

Check out the Us airways site. We will be flying them again this time...we also did in March....both times we got flights under $200

Airtran is running a good deal, in late september the rate was $168 round trip. If you book Usair, try clicking on finding a flight by way of "price" rather than schedule and you might get a better deal. The price was starting at $150 and with taxes and fees it came out to 162.50.
I was going to book the 162.00 flight one evening but my kids wanted the computer so I thought I would book the next day, by then the 10:30 flight was no longer listed, only a 12:30 flight and I did not want to leave that late. Booking the 10:30 flight was now going to cost $216.00
I went on travelocity and United had the best price for the times I wanted, $172.00, instead of booking through travelocity I went to united.com and the flight on their website was $5 cheaper than through travelocity. The funny part is that since Usair and United are partners I am actually on the Usair flight I had tried to book and I get the Usair frequent flyer miles as well.
You just have to check every day, usually more than once a day, and you may have to take a later or earlier flight to get the price you want. As soon as you see the price you want book it, do not wait.
