How are you spending St. Valentine's Day ?

:lmao: or villa fans just have no imagination !

Probably!! Tho' DH and I were 17 & 16 when the whole 'getting engaged' thing happened and, as I remember, being ...er "imaginative" wasn't high on the agenda... ;)

Well i have a day off that day, but Fulham are playing their FA Cup qualifier and Matt is off to Fulham for the day so i get to stay in bed for ages

Yes, my husband will be doing the Fulham thing too.

I, however, will be packing for my trip to DL Paris the next day. :cool1::cool1::cool1: To me that is the best use of a Valentine's Day.

We are going to see Dave Gorman but not because its Valentines Day just because that was when he was on in Reading but we are going to go out for a meal beforehand.

with all the football I'm sure DH will be working
might go out for a meal on the Friday

Don't forget opening your exchange gifts and posting photos missy :rolleyes1

Nothing special here either, agree with others, it's over priced, over hyped and tacky. It's also Chinese new year and we always like to head to chinatown in London for a bit of atmosphere. However, I don't think this is going to happen as eldest DD has just been invited to an Odeon birthday party to watch Princess and the Frog:rolleyes:

I think that Ian will be working, so no plans here. We do give each other cards. If he is not working I suspect it will be a takeaway curry and a bottle of wine - true romance lol

My husband usually gets up with our daughter at weekends to give me a long lie, so for Valentine's day I will get up with her, that's about the best gift he could probably get. :rotfl:

I don't go in for 'tat' I hate clutter and stuff like that, he has given me giant bears and roses in the past, but the bears are in the loft, the first ever rose he gave me I dried and put in a frame, but we've been together too long for all that now. :rotfl:

I might get him a card.... if he's lucky.

My DBF lives in the Netherlands and I'm in Colorado, so no romantic plans for us! We've sent each other cards and gifts but I'm fairly sure they won't get there in time anyway.

One of my friends turns 20 on Valentine's Day so a group of us are going out the night before, and then spending the day baking a cake and studying, and mourning our lack of dates

I will be in washington dc on sunday so will be out most of the day visiting some beautiful sights I picked up dh some stuff in target and walmart they had so much to choose from and cheap too lol we are going to rent a movie and get room service later on that evening :lovestruc

We just exchange cards now - it's all so overpriced!

Although in saying that my DH always buys me some lovely flowers on DS birthday [12th Feb] perhaps that's a Valentines gift too.

.........well he has done for the last 15 years, hope I'm not getting ahead of myself for year 16 :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Must remember to make DH a card. No special plans but we've bought each other Black Eyed Peas tickets so will look forward to that in June

Have you seen him before? He is brilliant live

Valentines day will be my 36th birthday, hurray, not, lol.

I was looking forward to a nice roast, some American cake, and a trip to Brum to watch the chinese new year celebrations.

But I currently have a lovely bout of gastroenteritis, so will be lucky if I can eat anything or even leave the house.:sick:
I am feeling very sorry for myself as I have had to cancel lunch out with my best friend twice for this week, and she is usually so busy I don't get to see her as often as we would like.

we are going out to our favourite restaurant the local indian, which we do every valentines as they do not put up their prices. ever so pleased its on a sunday this year as hopefully i won't get that sunday night feeling so early like I usually do on a sunday (especially as I am working all week).

I have asked Mark to get me perfume at the airport when we next go to Spain at Easter so will have something to look forward to.

Hope everyone has a good time

Susan
