How are you dressing your kids?

We are leaving in a week and I am trying to decide how to dress my kids. Temps for this week in Fl are lows in 60's and highs in low to mid 80's. I was thinking shorts and tees with hoodies. Will they be too cold? Sandals with no socks.

Shorts tees sandals...it will be warm. The low this week is mid 60's at night. You are coming at a perfect time for weather...it has been beautiful all week have a great trip!

Shorts and T's should be fine, but maybe bring a sweatshirt for the evenings. It couldn't hurt to throw one pair of pants per kid into the suitcase just in case, right? I guess I'm a "belt and suspenders" type of person . . . .

We used to always have a little backpack to take with us to the parks. In the mornings, you may want a sweatshirt, so it's nice to have somewhere to put it during the day when they get warm. Also socks are nice to have for mornings or evenings if you get cool. Yes, I agree bringing a pair of pants too is nice (when my kids were really young, we'd bring Hanna Andersson sweats - they look pretty nice as far as sweats go and were comfy for cool evenings).

You just never know in Florida - we tend to pack for all types of weather! Layers are good, so when the sun gets hot you can take off your sweatshirt.

It has been beautiful this week! We went yesterday and I dressed my kids in shorts, short sleeved shirts, and tennis shoes.
