How are turkey prices where you are?

went to the store i picked my 16# at last week-all they have left are the mutants that are no less than 25#. glad i already got mine.

I went yesterday and paid $.47/lb. They had a TON of frozen turkeys, both Butterball and ShadyBrook. I usually get a fresh turkey but the frozen were so cheap I decided to give that a try this year.

I'm not the one shopping so I don't have a clue. Last I was in Walmart 2 weekends ago I saw standard fare frozen turkeys for $1.48. Last night I checked the flyer for the grocery store and their brand frozen was $0.99.

I got a fresh one at Fresh Thyme for $1.29 a pound. It was only 12 pounds, so around $16 total.
