I'm a mosquito magnet. Generally speaking Disney does an outstanding job of spraying for them and I have never needed any kind of repellant.

The last time we were in FW it was rainy one day and freezing the next. Bugs we're a problem :)

How's the situation now? I would expect more insects than at the resorts and thought I would ask. They may have a more agressive spraying program at the fort.

I don't really find them to be a big problem at the Fort, but I've never been except in late fall and winter.

we have never had a problem either but always take repellant just in case.

I have to wear long pants in the evening because I seem to get bitten by something around that time of day, I think its flies but they are too fast. I dont really notice mosquitos at WDW.

This is the most mosquitos I have ever seen at Disney

This was 2003 late OCT. this was on the way to the MNSSHP. There were so many campers going that night that Disney sent the BIG FERRY BOAT to pick us up at the Fort. The strangest thing was nobody was complaining that they were being bitten by them.

They must have been DISNEY MOSQUITOS

Just returned Sunday and the mosquitos were not bad but the flies (yellow) really bit. I am still scratching my legs.

Yikes.... I hadn't considered the biting flies :)

It appears that Disney is doing a really good job spraying for the mosquitos, even in an area as large as FW.

Now, it looks like I'll need to use repellant for the flies :)

Thanks everyone.
