Any vacation updates? Favorite new restaurants, big casino wins, best hair products for riding topless? :teeth:

So far, everything has been going very well.

The casinos have not been my friend this trip. They have howvere, been very good to John.

Last evening, he sat down at a slot machine that none of us understood. He put twenty dollars in and hit a button that let him know that he had just bet $14 of his $20....ONE ONE SPIN. He did it anyway and won $17 leaving him with $23. He hit the same button again, spending another $14 and $600.

We still dont understand how it worked.

We had been told about a great Italian restaurant in Cape May, so we decided to go do some sightseeing and shoping. We realized we were getting hungry and asked a sales person if she knew where Cucina Rosa was located? She looked at us like we were a bit slow and said....."it's next door."

This produced absolute fits of the giggles and as we left she looked even more doubtful as to our mental capacity.

Food was outstanding. By the way, the restaurant is located at one end of the Washington Street pedestrian mall.

Still having a great time, butthe time is winding down and we will be heading home soon.

Jeez....I miss the dogs something fierce.

Sounds like you are having a fanastic time

Have a great rest ov your vacation. Can't wait for the full report when you get back.:goodvibes

Do not question the Let-It-Ride JuJu!!!

You mean there are people besides me that have "duh" moments? Who woulda thunk it!

Jeez....I miss the dogs something fierce.

I always feel the same way about our schnauzer when we're on vacation. We miss her terribly but know she's living it up staying with "Grandma & Grandpa" as she always looks like she's gained weight when we pick her up.

I did the same thing in a casino at Lake Las Vegas. It was the darndest thing. That was two years ago, and I still have no idea how it worked! HA! I think I won about $300 though... I just remember thinking that fate often smiles on people like me... (blonde in more ways than one)!

I had to laugh this weekend though! It's like you two are "storm" magnets. You go up to Jersey and a tropical storm follows you! When you drive home to Florida, sneak in very quietly so the storms don't know your back!

And I missed my pup so much while in Florida this past June, so I totally understand!

Hurry home, we miss you two on the podcast!

Don't feel bad Kevin. I have my "DUH!" moments every now and them. It's when they start to turn into "senior moments" that scare me.

Which end of the Mall? By the Mug or Congress Hall? (The Blue Pig is really good for lunch.)

Enjoy the remainder of your stay in NJ. Have a safe trip home!

Thanks Kathy!

It's on the end closer to Congress Hall.

We went last night without John. He had driven his Dad home to norhern NJ and we had some other family in town.

It was so good that we are going back again tonight so that John can experience it.

sounds like you are having fun on vacation. That slot experience sounds similar to ours out in Tahoe. No idea how it worked but we won $1400 for our $10 bet. You will have to give us a mini trip report when you get back. Enjoy the rest of your time. We miss you guys on the boards.

There is a great restaurant in Mamora, right outside of Ocean City called the Tuckahoe Inn - it's been reaaaaaally good when we have gone. I love the filet mignon with shrimp imperial dish.

AAAHHHHH Enjoying other people's vacations while at work at 5 in the morning. I can't think of a better way to stay alert in these wee hours. :bitelip: :surfweb:

I hit a slot machine like that up north this spring...couldn't sort it out to save my life - but I wasn't as lucky. I walked away while I still had $5 to get the coffee the next morning.

Safe trip home.
