We have booked our flights on Jet Blue for March. Just wanted to know how the planes are room-wise? Our very first trip a couple years ago we flew Air Transat and it was so cramped I couldnt even put the tray down. I have heard good thing on Jet Blue though......

Jetblue prides itself on offering more leg room than the average airline. Have flown JetBlue many times and it is great. They are usually on time, have leather seats (so it feels cleaner) and satellite TV.

I am sure you will enjoy your flight!!!

Not sure when you booked your flight, but if you suspect you will fly Jetblue again then check the current prices against what you paid on your flight. I booked back in July for my flight on Feb. 24 and the price has gone down in price $30. I have 6 seats on that flight so have called and received $180 in Jetblue credits that i will use on our next flight. Credits need to be used within a year.

You will enjoy your Jetblue flight. They have live TV (great for the kids), satellite radio and good legroom. Enjoy!

The difference between jetBlue and Air Transat is like night and day.

Flew Air Transat YYZ to MCO a few years back. The flight was delayed by 5 hours. The plane was big...250 or more passengers. Seating was very cramped. Service was indifferent.

By contrast, jetBlue planes are luxurious. They use newer Airbus planes that hold about 150 people. Lots of legroom. Individual TV's in seat-backs. Friendly service. Good snacks.

We have flown jetBlue four times now, out of Syracuse, and have booked them again for our upcoming trip in February. One of the best airlines we have ever flown.

Enjoy your trip.

Agree with all comments. Jetblue is an excellent airline. Love the TVs. They passed snacks around in a basket with a " help yourself" attitude. These were full chocolate bards and bags of chips. I don't find any flight particularly spacious with legroom but this was better than others. Most comparable with West Jet IMHO.

Funny thing is, I couldn't find a decent keynote flight in March so we are flying AirTransat - ugh!

Can anyone tell what a great deal is on Jetblue from BUF to Orlando? I see rates around $99 per person each way for our trip, but we have always driven, so I am not sure what is a great deal.

$99 is a good rate. They typically start at $89 each way and sometimes have sales, but the best I have ever paid is $89.

99 for Jetblue flights is really good and I say to grab them NOW.
We just finally went with Southwest because the Jetblue flights we wanted for the last week of February were a little over 400 return:sad2: 1600 for the four of us was just too high when we flew with Jetblue for 800 return 6 months ago. Grab them now!

We loved our jetblue flight. It was roomy and having the tv's to watch made the time fly by.
I also really like Southwest, but I will miss the tv's to entertain the kids.

Ok, so they only have the $99 on the way there and they haven't yet released the dates for my return. So I am patiently waiting, who I am kidding I am far from patient :lmao:, for them to release my return dates.
To the original poster, sorry if I am hijacking your thread. :cutie:

We only fly with Jetblue. We only have good things to say about them. 4 years ago we arrive at MCO 2 hours prior to our flight to Syracuse but check in was soo long because of short staff, that we actually missed our flight. We got checked in at our departure time. That being said, they found us alternate flights later that day but because of weather problems, our connections at JFK ended up leaving 4 hours later then planned. Considerating that we should have arrived at SYR by noon with direct fly and instead arrived past 2 am, they gave us not only a full refund on all our airfare but also paid for our hotel in Syracuse and paid for our breakfast the next day. Now that's called service!

Room leg is honnetly bigger then most airlines and satellite tv is wonderful. Also they offer unlimited complimentary snacks and beverage during your flight. This past trip, my tv dind't work and they credit me $30 even before I was home and we hadn't even complained.

another vote for Jetblue :thumbsup2

when going to Orlando we only flight JetBlue, IMHO they have lots of leg room as oppose to some other airlines, I can actually cross my legs!!!

Love the crew, 1st suitcase is free (hate when some airline doesn;t include that in their price :headache:), the planes are newer, nice tv, not skimpy on the snacks either. And they have great price!!
:cool1:

As for luggage. It seems you get one checked and one carry on. How much is it for an extra checked bag?

I paid $25 for an extra bag this past October. Oh and anything baby like stroller, car seat and so on is free of charge

We had the chance to fly with them last summer (drove to US- PWM to MCO) and we had no complaints. We'd definitely fly with them again.

If they would fly from Nova Scotia, I would fly with them all the time. They would become my preferred airline.

Just to make sure I am clear, every person gets one checked bag free, right! I have 4 people flying, so they could each take their own suitcase, as well as 1 carry on? We will still only be taking 2 suitcases, one for both kids stuff and one for my hubby and I, we will have a washer and dryer! My girls will probably take there small roll suitcase, (camp rock/hannah montanna) they aren't big, as their carry ons, and we will take a laptop, and my purse, which doubles as my carry on! Can you take a laptop and a carry on? We are flying back Airtran,so have to keep the checked baggage down! Which is not easy! I find shoes take so much room in the suitcase, it drives me insane, water shoes, running shoes, crocs! This year, they are taking only their crocs, and they will double for both, and a pair of flip flops for the pool! Anyhow, just wanted to make sure I was right about each person gets a checked bag free!
Thanks

Yes, each person gets 1 checked bag free AND their own carry-on with JetBlue!

We flew round-trip with JetBlue this September past.

We had (for 4 people) 4 suitcases to be checked, 3 backpacks & 1 bag & 1 laptop carried on plane.

Jet Blue is awesome. By far the most leg room of any low cost carrier (and possibly any carrier I can't say as we fly the low cost carriers). Also they definately offer more ammenities. When we flew southwest recently we were on a very old plane with no TVs whatsoever. The trip before that we flew Jet Blue and had a new plane with personal TVs in every seat. We are flying jet blue this trip also, I would have flown southwest but we got a good deal for jet blue at $338 round trip out of Buffalo tax in for two adults and a lap infant

I was wondering, Does Jet Blue only fly out of Bangor Maine...as in, is that the closest place to the maritimes that they'd fly out of?
