Hey all that got to the Northern Meet I was just wondering how all the heads were this morning?

Just got home. Left sunny Newcastle at 9.30, so made good time.

It was an absolute riot! We had a fantastic time. Some people were looking worse than others this morning, I have to say (although I'm NOT going to say who ). Let's just say he was wearing a plain t-shirt this morning which I suspect is because he couldn't face the bright colours of his normal wardrobe.

I thought picking names out of the hat for the quiz teams was a stroke of genius - got everyone mixing.

Thanks to the committee and particularly to Astrid for letting us go to HER meet!

Hope the curry crowd have a good time this evening. See you all at Flamingoland!

Yep - we had a great time! And because Mo and Jamie couldn't make it there was no bottle of scotch........so Shaun plus 2 other nameless people (you know who you are!) decided to buy rather a lot of it from Asda...(one bottle and one litre I think) and despatched most of it in the two evenings, just between the three of them!!!!

Just watch out for the photos!!

BTW, Astrid is callin the kidnapper's bluff and says if the corkscrew's not returned, unharmed, the Gnome gets it!

My heads feeling a little dull this morning, and you should have seen poor katie this morning - she looks the worst of the lot of us, obviously too many Fanta's over the weekend.

We had a superb time, and really enjoyed meeting everyone, new faces and old!
