DS got a B 2 x C's 2 x D's and an E. It's touch and go wheither he gets to do the course at colleage he wants. He has had a lot of time off school through illness so I hope they will take that into account.

Those are great results if he has been ill! Most colleges around here accept you without your 5 A - C's if you are willing to reatke the exams next year, hopefully it will be the same for your son. Best of luck!

Thanks Queenie he is looking to retake the Maths so fingers crossed.

Tony ~ Hope he gets to do the course he wants.

Will keep my fingers and toes crossed for your DS.

If your ds tells the college that he is willing to retake a gcse and that he is very keen to do the course and feels that he is capable of passing it the college should take him.

good results so well done, finger crossed for him. :wizard:

I think they will except him as he was very keen in the interview and the guy was impressed that Callum as already started taking pictures in black and white and going on shoots etc. :thumbsup2

Good luck and fingers crossed for him :goodvibes

hope he gets in ok. He's done really well with being ill etc! Fingers crossed:)

Hope he gets in and everything works out well for him. He did well though.

Hope it all works out well for him. As long as he has/is willing to retake maths and english there houldn't be a problem with a college accepting him.

Tony, I agree that those are pretty good results if he has had time off through illness. I hope he gets the place at college that he wants.

As an aside, my clever DH got his English GCSE result last week (having finally decided he ought to have an English qualification) and got an A - I'm so proud of him :thumbsup2
