How are the coasters?

I'm going to Universal over the summer and I'm taking my aunt. She is a larger lady. She's not to large she just has larger hips. Probably around 60' inches. She's worried that she won't be able to fit on the coasters. I tried to research it for her because she really doesn't like embarrassment and I know they have trial seats but everyone says they are out front for the public to see. We are going during a busy time and I know she'd hate that.

Can anyone give me some feedback on the coasters? She's about 5'8 and 300 lbs (though she doesn't look it). She has a small top she is just pretty bottom heavy. Is there a chance she will fit? That includes the new coaster (Hollywood Rip Rockit). Has anyone gone lately and can share their experience? Maybe their sizes and how they fit so I can compare. My Aunt is like so incredibly sweet and sensitive so I wouldn't want her feelings to be hurt.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance.

There are test seats out front of the coasters in both parks to try out before standing in line. On Hulk and Dueling Dragons, the "big boy" seats are in rows 3 & 6. They are the ones with two buckles. Revenge of the Mummy has the most leg room in the back row so that's where she'll probably sit...which isn't a bad thing...lots of air time in the back. I think the modified seats are in row 6 on the Rockit too but someone else will have to verify.

BTW...Some people are embarrassed to try out the seats but don't be...that's what they are there for.

Thanks!! I really hope she's able to fit. She will be destroyed if she isn't. Thanks again for answering my question.

I am bottom heavy but my hips are not as big as your aunt's. I just about sqeeze my bottom into Hulk and DD. The "big boy" seats really only help those who have extra weight in the top half and stomach...not so much help for hips. She may be able to squeeze in. When I first tried the seat I didn't think I fit, but just keep squeezing down.

Thank you so much for your input. I know I'd done a little research and even read some posts on here about it but just about everyone's complaint was the chest room. My Aunt wouldn't have a problem with that at all it's just the hip/butt area. I hope she'll be able to squeeze into it. Was it very uncomfortable for you or okay once you squeezed in? Also, do you mind telling me how big your hips are. I understand if you don't I was just curious so maybe she can lose weight or get down to that size before we go or something. I really don't want her to feel left out.

Thank you soo much again.
