Just wondering... I have an awesome mattress at home and I'm hoping it's a good mattress at SSR. We are going for two weeks in Sept and staying in a one bedroom... I don't know if I can take 14 nights in a hard bed...

Have you stayed there? What do you think of the bed?

We just spent a few nights at a 1-bedroom in SSR over 4th of July. My husband has tons of back issues, including 3 herniated discs along with other problems, and he thought that the king bed was very comfortable. (so did I) Also, our 2 sons, who are 6'3" and 6'4", thought we were kidding when we arrived in the room in the afternoon and told them they had to share the pull-out couch. I was good-naturedly accused of child abuse and also of being cheap with my points! (I guess there could be some truth to the "cheap with the points" part.) They said that there was NO WAY they'd EVER be able to sleep on that pull-out! Anyway, it was so funny, because after their little "tirade", the boys pulled out the couch and were relaxing and watching TV, my husband was resting on the king bed, and so I thought I'd go for a stroll to check out the resort before our walk over to Downtown Disney for dinner. I came back about 45 minutes later and those two big complainers were sleeping like babies on their pull-out mattress! I had to wake them up to go to dinner! (I've got the photo to prove it, but there would be more accusations if I posted it here on the Disboards!!!)

I agree...
The king bed is very comfy....

The pullout is the most comfortable sofabed I've slept on...
I wouldn't hesitate to sleep in it again.

whoo hooo!!! DH says I'm a "princess" because I need a comfy mattress... he can fall asleep like a baby on a concrete floor LOL, but I have back issues too... so whew! :cheer2:

We have a soft-sided waterbed (with the individual tubes) and thought the SSR King was great. Kids had no problems on the others as well. Two thumbs up as well!!

We all slept great!! The king, the queens and the pull-out had NO complaints from our family!! :thumbsup2

PS - I didn't like the pillows at SSR or BWV - too high/fluffy for me. Haven't tried others.

Love our King Bed at SSR too!!

We keep 1000 thread count sheets and cases in our Owner's Locker and I happily tip Mousekeeping to put them on for me!! Pure Heaven is right!:cloud9:

Very Very Comfortable.

We have a Queen at home so the King is :thumbsup2

The new mattresses at BCV are much improved and very comfortable also.

1000 TTC! OMG! That would be so much better than the sheets they have on there. Great idea!

We have stayed at SSR ( our home resort) last October and are going back for a week in August. We stayed in both a 2 bedroom villa and also the grand villa. We had many people with bad backs and also a few senior citizens with us. Everyone commented on how COMFORTABLE those beds are. No one wanted to get out of bed!!! When we came back home, I called SSR and asked if they could supply me with the type of matresses that they have at the resort. The lady I spoke with laughed and said they get those comments regularly. They are made by Sealy and are the Encore Plush 720 pillowtop matresses. The next matress I buy will be this one for sure. I can't wait to go "home" and get a great night sleep!! LOL

The beds at SSR are very comfortable!! :thumbsup2 I slept like a baby every night of our trip. Those in our party who slept on the sofa pull-out beds also said they were nice and comfortable! :cloud9:
