How are the beds at Paradise Pier?

I am considering switching from hojos to PPH for my son's upcoming surprise one on one birthday trip in May. I've read lots of posts about PPH but I was wondering how are the beds? I am used to a soft sleep number bed and so I usually bring a mattress topper with me to hotels. How to the beds compare to the comfy Hojos beds?

I've never stayed at Hojos, but I find the beds at Paradise Pier to be extremely comfortable.
