How are room charges handled?

Do the things we charge on board using our room key get posted to one account for the room? or can the charges be separated to different card cards by individual stateroom members? Would make for easy accounting for us if they can be posted to each individual. Just wondering. Thanks

When guest services prints out your bill, it will show each individual cards purchases, so you know who has spent what.

And it shows what day and what location the individual charges were made!!!

We treid to put each room card (2) on a different credit card and we were told that their system cannot do that, both on the ship and at WDW. It was very easy to identify what card charged what though.

Limmer...that is strange...we were 3 friends sharing a room and we each had our KTTW card linked to our own credit cards...

We had mine and my daughters cards on one credit card, and my friend and her daughters charges on a seperate credit card, we were both in the same room and they said no problem seperating the charges to 2 different cards.

I was with my Grandmother and we were in the same room and seperated our charges... we had had another problem wich was why were checking our balance that first night and they suggested the seperate accounts since her and i were sitting their debating on what was who's and so forth it was just easier for us... more so me to know how much spending money I had Left of my own money.

Did you have a land-sea package where you used the same KTTW card for both parts? For WDW stays, they will not (cannot?) use multiple credit cards for different guests staying in the same room, although you can separate out the charges afterwards and use multiple credit cards to settle the bill, as you note. For the cruise, we had no problem using two different credit cards, one for us and a second card for our adult son who joined us on the cruise. We never saw any of his charges.
