I'm reading about all the cut backs Disney is making and I'm wondering if this a new trend in the Orlando area?

Is Universal or Sea World cutting hours back?

Mod: please move this to the appropriate board if you don't want it here. Thanks

hi: there was a thread on one of the boards about universal cutting back jobs as well. the percentage of cut jobs out of total employees was higher for universal than for wdw. if attendance picks back up, hopefully we'll see a reversal of some of the cutbacks.

Last word i saw and heard at IOA 10/20 was that universal laid-off 100. not a large number. Disney earlier let go most of it's non-full time employees. That had to be a much larger number since Disney has far more people that fall into the seasonal catagory:smooth:

I know Sea World cut their hours back by an hour. Also, the back part of the park doesn't open until 10 am. That means you can't ride JTA or Kraken until 10 am.

Yeah I found that out this morning, I could have slept another hour:rolleyes:

I really enjoyed JTA but whats up with the Beetlejuice music on the second climb?

Kraken is awesome but Hulk still rules Central Florida
