It sounds like Orlando is still hit very hard from the hurricane Its not on our local news coverage, and I 'm relying on locals to give me straight answers.

It sounds like Universal is doing ok. They sound operational, and some small items still needing to be done. (ie landscaping, etc.)

How is the I Drive area? Are the restuarants closed? Power outages?

How is the gas situation? I've been hearing horror stories of no gas at gas stations, etc. Where is the nearest gas station ?

Was I 4 structurally damaged in any way? How about I 95?

We are driving, so how is other parts of Florida--Daytona, Palm Coast, Jacksonville?

Thanks!

We are in Orange county.

As for gas we are in good shape now. There isn't long lines at stations anymore to get gas, that all cleared up on Wednesday. As for roads they are all OK structurally. Roads with regards to trees is still up in the air, major roads are all cleared and passable, it is the side streets that we are still having problems. Power I believe is OK on I-Drive but I refuse to hit that road so I'm not totally positive but they haven't said anything on the TV about not having power there.

thanks for taking the time to post
i appreciate the info:sunny:

Thanks for your help. I thought it was in Orange County but I wasn't sure.

That was helpful information. Glad to hear about the gas situation has cleared up.
