How are my dining choices?

Hrmmm, thinking I might need to switch my dinner reservation to a lunch reservation at BB after reading everyone's feedback. Also I didn't know the monte cristo was only served during lunch. Good to know : )

Our family consists of me, DH, DD15, DS13, & DS7 and we're staying at the Villas at GCH. Right now, I've booked: Blue Bayou (dinner) Storyteller's Café (breakfast) Carnation Café (dinner) Goofy's Kitchen (breakfast) Steakhouse 55 (dinner) Wine Country Trattoria (dinner) This is our first trip, so I have no idea if these are good choices or not. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

Blue Bayou.. Keep it for dinner! Yes it is more pricy but worth it.. Never had a bad meal or service! We absolutely go every time we visit the park. It's a bigger meal so you won't want to try to run around in the heat after eating it all.

Change country trattoria.. It's not that great. The food is kinda bleh and it never comes out looking like anything you want to eat. :/

Goofy's kitchen.. It's fun and hectic! It's a buffet so it can be over with quickly, but there are a lot of characters so you have a reason to stick around a little longer!

Steakhouse 55.. Just do it. And please get the dessert!

Love Blue Bayou for dinner and LOVE the surf and turf! This year will be our third year going.

We too are going to try Steakhouse 55 this year. The Creme Brulee is now a top priority (I just hope I have room for it)

Looking through this thread and others like it, it dawned on me that everyone likes different things. For example, my entire family really hated the fried chicken at the Plaza Inn (tasted like bad supermarket deli chicken). A couple of my daughters hate the corn dogs. The churros (stale) and dole whip are not a fan favorite in my group either. Taste buds are funny things and everyone's are different.
