I was at Epcot and DHS yesterday (Thursday, December 4th). Epcot was very manageable when we got there in the morning, but by the early afternoon, it was very crowded. I had an LL for FEA and boy, did I need it. The posted standby time was 55 minutes, and it looked to me like it was more than that.
When I got out of FEA I wanted to go to the Norway bakery, but there was a very very very long line to get in, so I didn't go. Then I had the brilliant idea of getting an ADR for Rose & Crown. Hahaha. Nothing available.
So I took the Skyliner to DHS. I'd ordered food from Woody's, fought my way through the Toy Story Land crowd, got my food, looked around in vain for a shaded place to sit, and ended up walking over to the ABC Commissary so I could eat indoors in air-conditioning.
The additional seating area at Woody's is still woefully inadequate.
There were a lot of people at DHS yesterday. I'd booked a LL for MMRR while I was still at Epcot, so that was helpful. And I was willing to wait for other things. But there was no way I was going to go anywhere near Toy Story Land again.
TL;DR: The crowds are here. Enter at your own risk. ETPE, staying late, and LLMP/LLSPs are the keys to not waiting in heinous lines. Relish your ADRs. And park hop when necessary.
And, PS, the refillable popcorn bucket now costs $15.22 (including tax) and the refills are $2.65, still a bargain of sorts.
ETA: Previous popcorn prices: $14.25 for the bucket (including tax) and $2.25 for the refills. Every other food item I've purchased has also cost more than it did a mere 5 months ago. Be prepared for some sticker shock.
