I had planned on going down Labor Day Week but that isn't going to happen so we are looking at the week of Yom Kippur. We'd check in September 30th (so we'd still get free dining) and stay the 1st week of Oct.

Pros: MNSSHP & F & W Fest

But will it be crowded?

Thanks

We took an impromtu trip during that time a couple of years ago. I was quite surprised by the crowds to be honest. We thought we would have the parks to ourselves, but actually it was quite crowded. Not summer time crowded mind you, but there were significant lines. The weather is great though and you will still have a great time :yay:

:rotfl: That's exactly when we're going too. We did it last year and found that it wasn't too bad until F&W started, then EPcot was really crowded! BUT still not summer crowded, still managable crowded. My girls are not crack of dawn kind of kids so we opted not to do any EMH mornings, & we still managed to ride/see everything we wanted by using fastpass and going during parades at MK. We rode Test Track 11 times in 6 days! So it couldn't have been that crowded!!! lol

I'm going that week as well. Last year we went the last week of September and it felt emplty. I was really hoping for the same experience! Oh well, we will all still have a great time, but I can't say enough about low crowds during the last week of Sept.

Not to get you down but since I will be there I am sure it will be crowded and very hot too. I inspire heat and crowds when I take my trips. No that is not totally true. Our week after Thanksgiving trip had great weather, warm and cool at night. So I am approaching this trip as a true Disney experience, onsite for the first time, crowds and hot weather!

We were there the last week of Sept. & first week of Oct. last year.

We'd only been in mid-Dec. once before.

The Sept. week crowds were very similiar to what we had in Dec. - very light.

Crowds picked up in Oct., but were still very manageable. My parents joined us for their first time, and they were able to do everything they wanted. Lines didn't seem that much longer than the week before, but there were definitely more people in the parks.
